CUSTOM WORK

I love custom work. E-mail me for a quote. I’m particulary interested in residential furniture. I’m open to commericial or retail furniture jobs, especially ones in Texas. I will take jobs from something as small as a wall cabinet to as large as tables, booths, and other commercial jobs. If I cannot execute your job, there is a far chance I know someone who can.

Typically - I run custom projects like so:

When you reach out to me, I will begin a file for you that includes details that you have provided me. We will e-mail, call, and or do site visits to understand your wants and needs. We will work together on finding the best design for usability, utility, and aesthetics. During this process, I will send design documents in the form of 3D renders, technical sketches, and/or hand sketches.

Once we have sufficent information - I will provide you an invoice or quote for the work. These will include design documents generally including basic renderings and technical drawings. In order for any work to begin, you will need to approve these design documents and pay any balance required before starting work.

The scale and particulars of any project will dictate my pricing. Pricing is straightforward, and once I have created a quote I will not negotiate on price. I will have gotten your budget before beginning work. To encourage transparent practices when it comes to pricing:

To make my prices I create a bill of materials, estimate my time, and other costs that occur during production. These other costs could include transportation, shipping, any subcontracting (for example - I do not do metal work but may commission custom metal bases for a piece), etc. I will not share a detailed breakdown of price except in very specific situations. Do not ask me to do this.

Generally I require a material deposit to begin any work.

I’m passionate, detail oriented, and my entire production background has been centered around custom work in different construction and manufacturing niches. Custom projects are the reason I learned the skills I’ve learned - and I’d love to work with you to bring your ideas to life.
